Comments:

Varying propagation kept the interest up and butt in chair. Local noise kept me
from working NH6Y, but otherwise I didn't have the noise holding me back much.
I missed hearing any JAs, HLs or BYs here, even though they did get worked 200
miles to the south. That's 6m propagation for you. Meteor scatter Sunday morning
was fun. I heard more than I worked. Worked only a couple guys on CW and a few
more on SSB, but FT8 was the mode to be on. Sunday afternoon was mayhem on .313.
Too many guys and too many across-town desensing signals to have it be fun. I
tried FT4 and made three contacts. I didn't get enough exposure to it, but I got
the feeling that it was actually pretty sensitive. This contest has a wierd
ending time and I had to be told the contest was over. I made three contacts
beyond 2100Z, and I erased them from the log. I injoyed this one. It had a lot
more action than some previous July contests, but there have been better ones,
too. IC-7800, HB 1500W, 6M9KHW at 80 feet. 73, Paul K7CW
