Comments:
This was another last minute remote operation from NX6T in Fallbrook.
While I made the decision to run high power, the perkiness of the shack's
A/C unit required I dial things back a bit; average power was about 550 watts,
altho sometimes as high as 980.
While I love the IOTA GiG, I was somewhat disappointed by a lack of islands
on the air; even more so, the few number of islands actually calling CQ.
That left the CQ chores to us "world" stations; while I enjoyed doing
that,
it should not have been 80% of my time.
Nevertheless, this was my BEST IOTA GiG ever.
Maybe next year WQ6X will run from an island.
