Operated 2.75 hrs here and there from inlaws place. tossed up a 40M dipole a
few weekends back and it worked ok. Single band effort. 40 was slow going
first hour...too early in the day. celebrated my 50th birthday so distracted.
After a nice dinner, a few bottles of wine, etc, we all got back and i got back
on the air n in the chair for an hour or so...rate seemed better on 40 at 11PM
than it did at 3PM ...
