Comments:
Conditions here locally were pretty bad. Bands seemed very noisy and a
thunderstorm in the vicinity causing severe static crashes. Just installed a
new radio and finished re-configuring my station this afternoon. Still figuring
things out. Made first Q on 40 with 9 watts was wondering why I couldn't get an
answer to my CQ. Things worked better once I noticed!! It's going to take a bit
to get used to the new radio and controls. See you all next week.
