Comments:
100 watts (Flex 6600)and an end-fed 20-40 wire and an HF-2 equals a whole lot of
fun with good conditions on Saturday and amazing conditions on Sunday. This was
the first weekend (after two years) at the new house (with the new dedicated
shack in the basement) with lawn and landscaping (no driveway yet) and the start
of reinstalling all antennas and the tower with beam(next year). Worked
everybody in Eu I could hear on teh wire and everybody came back on the first
call. N1MM pretty much installed MMTTY on its own (and there's some conflicts
with 2-Tone - MMTTY - N1MM that need resolving but eventually everything got
working together more or less with only an occasional hick up. Installed
FRStacks software and had Amazon deliver the Stream Deck controller inside of 8
hours on Friday. Unfortunately the HF-6 went south as I was trying to make it
into an HF-8 with hand installed radial pattern on Friday so another project for
next week. All in all great to back into contesting as I rebuild the VE3HG
contest station.
