Comments:
Condx here in Big Sky Country were decent. No EU opening but prop was good from
other areas. My shunt fed tall tower is on the ground with a new homebrew
tribander ready to hoist up so had to use the shorter 52ft shunt fed tower and a
backup inverted vee. Didn't feel very strong except for close in. Several KH6s,
KL7, XE, NP2 and KV4 logged. JH2FXK was loud as usual and the only JA heard or
worked at SR. RT0F also solid here. Called VK6VZ for 20 minutes but could not
complete the Q. As many others have noted, VP6R was worked and logged but no
grid exchange for a single point. Should have all the antenna projects here
completed in a few weeks before the winter snows close down the outdoor fun.
