Comments:
Two out of three rotators would not work, so ended up going for SB-20M with
limited time avail.
It seems impossible but, the distortion in the modulation of many stations was
so pervasive as to make out their call signs nearly impossible unless you were
prompted by a spot. The splatter and rudeness made it a highly distasteful
experience.
The only reason for hanging in there for more than ten minutes was to produce
points for the club effort. Fun is supposed to be one component of contesting.
When $4,000 rigs are made to sound like crap, the fun aspect of this is
destroyed.
On the other hand, the big guns who are perennial Top Ten stations sounded
beautiful. It is too bad their fine examples are utterly ignored by about 15%
of everyone else.
