Comments:
The PJ1B rebuild continues, and we had three of the founders of that station
present for this contest: WA3LRO, N7ZZ, and N4RV. We found conditions fairly
good, with decent openings to Europe on 15m and some sporadic openings to Europe
on 10. The result we attained on 40m was very gratifying. We are experimenting
with low band wires, and will continue to do so in the November contest, where
we will be entering as a M/2.
It was great to have Steve PJ4DX operate with us for the first time. Big thanks
to Rich N6KT for all the tower work in variable weather conditions.
