Comments:
CW-SS is not a contest I enjoy. My CW is not up-to-snuff, and the complex
exchange -- while fun -- is a chore for me to copy, requiring multiple passes to
get down and thus a VERY slow QSO rate. However, despite having family in town,
I decided to put in a few minutes before breakfast to put some points in the
system and another op on the air for the Club.
Most sincere apologies to Gary (W4IVF) for a terribly botched QSO. I got a bit
flustered and the signal was a bit too fast for me (my own fault for answering
back at his speed), but I think we eventually got the contact in the log on both
sides. Not my proudest CW moment, but that's how we learn and improve.
