Comments:
A part-time entry this year due to an invitation to the president's box to watch
my alma mater Mercer University in Macon, GA play Samford University (from Bham
AL) in football. And what a game it was! It was cold outside, but warm with
good food, drink, and many old friends in the president's box. The home team
(Mercer) won in triple overtime! Stayed the night in Macon and drove home after
breakfast Sunday. Got on about 11 AM for the rest of the contest. Was fun being
"fresh meat" and running a lot during times I would have been
desperately searching for a few more QSOs in a full time effort. Delighted to
have made a "clean sweep" of the sections and the last one was MS.
Thanks for all QSOs. Glad to hear a lot of CW hams licensed in the last 20
years in CW SS. Seems efforts like CWOps CW Academy are paying off. Thanks for
