Comments:
80 was great! 20 was better with my brand new MONOBAND 20 meter yagi. That sure
sounds impressive doesn't it? I just scrounged up some wood and trash wire and
hung a director in front of my 20 meter dipole up 25 feet. It actually works
better than the dipole!
40 was great for the first hour and then it STUNK!!
I was dead tired and almost quit at 2300Z on Sunday. But I gave 80 a try and
just sat on one frequency for 3 hours and called CQ. Usually I'm lucky to make
20 or 30 qsos this late but I snagged 81 more qsos by just giving it a little
more effort. I had fun! 73--Tom NC3Y
