I'd worked another contest station the Saturday night with an Elmer, all
computer controlled. About 62 contacts under the station callsign not used here.
At home the Sunday I gave it a whirl with my manual station as myself.
Normally I'm a 10-12 wpm operator, but with the previous day's practice I could
read the CQ well at 30-40 and respond at 17 with a hand-key. I was very pleased
with how well it worked.
