Comments:
Bands from 20 on down were in good shape and quiet this year. There just weren't
many ops to work once the rush was over and as usual, Sunday was painfully slow.
The mults came easily this year including the sometimes difficult NT, PR and VI.
We got the Sweep at 1352Z by working NE. The last five sections this year were
OK AR SK NL and NE.
School stations worked: W4AQL, W9JWC, N5XU and K9IU. Special thanks to W4AQL for
checking in late in the contest!
It was very special and bittersweet to work Paul/N4PN on Saturday evening for
what turned out to be our last QSO. I had the pleasure of getting to know Paul
while operating with him in two Georgia QSO Party mobile runs. He will be missed
in literally every contest. N4PN SK. RIP, my friend.
We have six Hesston College students including 3 YLs practicing hard for the SSB
Sweeps. Four of them are returning students who really enjoyed last year. It's a
strong team, and they're really looking forward to working you all!
The log has been uploaded to LOTW. Thanks for the fun!
