Comments:
I almost pulled off the top out of state score operating half of the time with
almost no spotting help. Life has been very hectic; I did not plan on any QP
activity on the ILQP weekend. At 1948Z I was off with the XYL to a book signing
by my daughter's boyfriend. Despite funky Wx (chilly with rain) there was a big
crowd, and all 60 books were sold.
It was fun while I was on the radio. There was enough mobile and county line
operations to keep me pretty busy. AD4EB/M was not quite as loud as usual from
other states, but was cranking out the Q's as was N0I/M. By 0030Z I was tired
and the bands were pretty well worked out, so QRT'ed when I should have ground
out a few more Q's. I look forward to a more serious effort next year.
Thanks to Jim,N9JF for the mobile QSO's and log checking. He has a pretty hectic
road warrior schedule.
73, Jeff, N8II
It was fun
