Comments:
Enjoying the lower noise level and ability to use an amp at the new QTH. Part
time effort due to numerous other obligations. Saturday after midnight I caught
the tail end of 40M and struggled with the long 80M band. Sunday evening was my
only other opportunity and I stuck to 20 since there was lots of activity when I
got on around 5pm. I stayed with it, probably a little too long. When I
switched to 40M it had very low noise and lots of loud signals. I managed to
find a decent run frequency and had a good hour or two. Ran unassisted, so my
mult count wasn't great. Great to work PVRC buddies.
