Antennas:
Run Radio ( 7610 )
160M = Inverted L at 33M with 140 radials ( shared with S&P radio )
80/40 = 80M Doublet at 12M
20/15 = 160M Delta Loop at 12 M
S&P Radio ( 7600 )
160M = Inverted L at 33M with 140 radials ( shared with Run radio )
80/40/20/15 = 160M Doublet at 12M
It was obvious the higher in freq I went the less efficient the antennas were.
Which makes sense as they were designed for 160 and 80 in the first place.
As a result I left ALOT of Mults on the table. But even with low power and low
field day type antennas it was great SO2R practice and perfect CW Nirvana.
15 reminded me of 160 with deep QSB where a station would go from 599 to
219/ESP. NA stations had fast QSB while DX stations had slower QSB. So just like
on 160 I had to hit them on their peaks.
Gross QSOs=1848 Dupes=41 Net QSOs=1807
Unique callsigns worked = 1224
The best 60 minute rate was 113/hour from 0314 to 0413
The best 30 minute rate was 128/hour from 0330 to 0359
The best 10 minute rate was 156/hour from 0229 to 0238
The best 1 minute rates were:
5 QSOs/minute 3 times.
4 QSOs/minute 12 times.
3 QSOs/minute 112 times.
2 QSOs/minute 360 times.
1 QSOs/minute 688 times.
There were 559 bandchanges and 564 (31.2%) probable 2nd radio QSOs.
