Comments:

First time using My recent SO2R setup in a crowded DX contest. I didn't expect
much out of the "smsll" station (100W to a screwdriver antenna on the
backyard steel fence counterpoise), using it mostly to monitor the scope for
band openings. But I did manage to snag a surprising number of Q's and mults on
the less crowded 15M and 10M while I was on the lower bands with the
"big" station. It's much more effective in domestic and less crowded
contests, but every little bit counts...points is points.

The "big" station (KW to a ground-mounted screwdriver on a hill)
worked out OK, but, as usual, I was 99% S&P and Telnet clicking, as the
compromised antenna limits my ability to run in DX tests.

I worked most of our DX-travelling members on multiple bands. Had fun as always,
and thanks for the Q's. Happy and safe Thanksgiving to all!

2-IC-7300's; Acom 1500; 2-Tarheel screwdriver antennas.

73, Bob K7JQ
