Back home this year, with 500W, low band trap dipole, and high band vertical on
the roof. The summer's antenna work resulted in stable SWR everywhere. I guess
you could call this a "full weekend" effort for an old duffer: I got a
decent sleep both nights, took some time off Sunday when the bands weren't
producing much, and quit in time for the Patriot's late afternoon game.
Conditions were such that I had to rely almost entirely on S&P, so my
multipliers were actually up a little from last year at K6ND. The amp really
mattered in these conditions; I've never done anywhere near this score in this
part of the cycle with 100W.
