What a weekend. One hour in on Friday my unun and end fed gave up the ghost, got
wet or something and at the same time the pal star 2KND gear mechanism failed so
I’m off the rest of the evening. Saturday, with another end fed installation
and fixing the Palstar, I got the second end fed up with a 1.4 to 1 SWR. One
hour into tonight, the Alpha 78 went dead (haven’t diagnosed the problem).
What a contest! Thanks for what I did get. Now, to fix things. 73
