Comments:
I replaced the old FT1000D with a FT1000MP Mark V with filters. Took some
getting use to on the offset but got that squared away. Put up a couple
receiving antenna that worked but the conditions and local noise was as low as I
have ever heard it. Only a few SA that were spotted I didn't hear. I didn't hear
any EU. The JA's were the big stations. The smaller ones I could hear but they
couldn't at the time hear my LP signal. I worked more CO. stations this year
than in the past. Thanks to the following GMCCers and friends. K6XT, KE0UI,
KV0Q, N0KQ, W0CP, W4SIG, N0KE,K7SCX, K0KR, N0KV, KF7MD, W0FD, AF0E, NC0B,
W0IZ,AA0RS. Just can't do the all night stuff any more especially with a cold
going on. Had fun and the few runs were good. Love the 160mtrs OP. God Bless and
