Comments:
I got started late and worked the first five hours on 20 meters using my 6M Ham
Stick dipole (unintentionally). Stayed on FT4 the whole time; went to FT8 for a
few minutes and listened. Decided the best option was to stick with FT4. The
pacing of FT4 is the most like a RTTY contest. I liked being able to switch
between RUN and S&P. I think by the end of the contest most folks had
figured it out and repeats weren't as problematic. FT4 contesting still has
some growing to do with a glaring need for training sessions so that operators
get a feel for the rhythm and flow. N1MM+ & WSJT-X worked great together -
need to be able to resend 73 message when necessary w/o adding another entry to
the log - maybe MY training need. Looking forward to the next one!
