Comments:
I only had a few hours of operating time available to me in this contest.
Friday night was fairly good with a mix of meteor scatter and Es, but signals
were generally weak and erratic. I did manage a few QSOs on CW to the west
coast, and that felt pretty good given the late night hour and the low point in
the solar cycle. I did not have much luck running with just 100 watts and an
all-band OCF dipole. I was pleased to get N1MM+ working with the K3 internal
DVR to save my voice. Later in the weekend the propagation was absolutely nil.
I was bothered by a raspy local S5 QRN from a neighbor's computer the entire
time.
