First CWT with my new number! I parked on 7.046, figuring that was about where
I wound up last week after Searching and Pouncing my way up the band. This week
I was going to try just running.
The top of the hour brought two quick QSO's, then things got slow... I could see
the activity below me, but few callers came up to me for the first ten or
fifteen minutes. After that it got steady, then even a few runs with multiple
callers at once.
QSB wasn't terrible, fairly quick and not too deep.
By the time 1340Z rolled around the activity had worked it's way up to my
neighborhood and it stayed steady to the top of the hour.
This was a personal best, but I have the feeling my first half hour could have
been better.
See you all on Christmas Day!
