Comments:
Santa brought 65 fresh sunspots in six active areas for
yesterday, but ian a way that there is hardly any lift in
ionizing radiation (actually it's just a number). Due to
logistics pressures I made a head-start and worked Spas
LZ1HW/2 an hour too early on 7 MHz. Heard him in CWT also,
but S/P. Howie N4AF was the only USA on 7 MHz, with signals
growing by the minute, but my power too low on the Southward
sloper. Some new calls like EA4ZK and LZ1MS... On 3.5 MHz
I could not reach about half of the CWT-callers due to poor
antenna efficiency, so finally this turned out to be the usual
fifty/sixty effort in these sort of conditions. Happy New Year
to all! Cheers/73, Zaba OH1ZAA CWops #1856
