Comments:
Only had a short time Friday evening to operate. Started on 40M expecting to
find a beehive of activity from VE-land, but could only hear stations way West.
Later, 40M started to bring in VE2 and VE3. 80M was much better early on to VE2
and VE3.
A combination of my low antenna and propagation did not help, although I was
very surprised to work a small handful of EU stations, including F5IN on 80M
(relatively strong here).
For the rest of you able to operate during daylight hours Saturday, I hope 20M
picks up.
Nice to work several stations I know from CWT and other contests. HNY guys!
