Comments:
Just thought I'd get on and hand out a few Qs. Always love the 160m contests.
With a half-way decent antenna, it's easy to get on an call CQ, even with low
power.
Ran briefly at the beginning, then decided to hunt around. I was surprised at
how easy it was to work some Europeans! Several were found calling CQ that were
quite loud and easy to work. I managed to work DL, OK, ON and G, but my best DX
was US1Q, for a 28 point QSO. With the exception of DL, those are all new
band-countries for me.
Tried out a new headset: Koss SB-45. No reason to use the boom mic for this
contest, but the headset was very comfortable for my 2+ hours.
