Comments:
>From MT, the great RF black hole of the USA, condx were decent but a bit noisy.
The XYL scheduled a post Christmas party with lots of well lubricated guests, so
we missed most of the prime hours Saturday evening. Installed a K9AY loop
pointed at EU the past week hoping it would outperform the fullwave 160 HLoop,
but it did not impress.
A handful of EU Qs in the 0500Z hour but EU didn't open up here like in the ARRL
160. KV4FZ Herb was loud. PJ2T rather weak. No SA.
A nice JA run at sunrise including a few polar path EU Qs. JW7QIA was loud.
Fished out the band in both the late night and early AM short sessions. Tnx for
the Qs.
