Late start and use of FT4 reduced my Qs from
1500+ last year to 1075 this year.
This was an experiment with FT4. Using same power
and antennas for both modes, FT4 was far distant
to RTTY for SO2R RTTY rates. I will not use FT4 in
the future for this contest. (FT4 belongs in its own
contests which DO exist and ARE fun. Just rates are
much lower.)
SO2R RTTY 1 KW; 1 transmitter FT4; N1MM+
used with both RTTY and FT4 - networked together
to share data base, scoring and duping.
