Comments:
Fun Contest. 20m at the start was a tale of excitement and despair. During the
first 20 minutes, rates were on track for a 300+ hr, however, they quickly
plummeted, and 20 never really breathed life again. 20m ended up being aweful, a
far cry from my 700+ Qs last year. 15m showed brief spurts of life. I ended up
going to 40m quite early, and as a result, leaving a little early. 80m yielded a
great run, and a 200+ hour, and the best multiplier of any band. 160m was noisy,
and signals never loud.
More mults than last year, and about 300 fewer qs, however, total score only
about 20k down.
Thanks so much to Greg, W1KM, and Dennis, W1UE for making this happen. This
station is fantastic, and Greg is an A+++++ host. Very grateful for the
experience.
