Still pretty worn out from a month of sore throat. Laryngitis, but lots of cough
drops helped. Took 4 long naps during the contest. Conditions were excellent
on the low bands. The directional receiving antennas made the difference. The
wind was howling with a wind chill well below freezing. Antennas survived the
snow, ice, rain, freezing rain, thawing, and refreezing. XYL brought hot meals
to the shack. Missed SD, KH6, and some Canadians.
