Comments:

Rovered in 5 grids. All Q's were phone on SSB or FM. Used about 30 watts output
on every band.

It was too cold to stop and put up antennas, so I suffered with the poor
performance of 3 whips on mag mounts (1/4 wave on 220, 3 foot antenna on 50, and
a dual band 144/432 - 1/2wave / 5/8 over 5/8) mounted on the car. My vertical
antennas were a poor match for everyone else who were using horizontal antennas.
I could not hear stations I knew from past VHF contests I could easily get on a
small horizontal beam. I only had about a 10-30 mile range depending on where I
was. And all of the drive-up summits were closed for the winter.

SSB and FM activity was very scarce and most of my contacts were skeds.
