The contest started at 6 PM here. Until 8pm you can work easily stations on TOP
BAND.But when the neighbouring switch on their TV set and others digital tools
you are in hell ( enfer in French ). At 11PM I think they went to bed. the band
became again very quiet.
I spent an enjoyable Ham radio week-end with my favourite CW mode.
Conditions never reach the 2009 level but were very goods. I have 2 RX antennas
:K9AY LOOP and a pennant with the preamp and the POWER OVER COAX from
RemoteQTH.
60% of the time I listened on my INV L transmit antenna. I used the FT1000 MP
with the ALPHA 8410 instead of my usual FTDX 3000. Old stuffes seems better for
the 160m IMHO. Or maybe my model 1960 ears are more familliar with the analogic
technology.
