Comments:
This was not 2009 - but it was better than most years.
New RX antenna worked very well. Feeding both ends of a Beverage that runs from
JA to the East Coast and used diversity. When EU was coming through, I would
switch one ear to the EU Beverage - and then the termination was gone on one end
of the other one - so it became bidirectional. Except for some weak W6s where I
used the vertical RX array - I pretty must just used that antenna all weekend
for RX.
Nice to work all continents.
Had 89 Japan QSOs and only 25 with Europe. Worked one the first evening, a
handful the first morning and just a few the second morning (the rest were the
second evening). Heard much more than I could work both nights.
