I was not able to work the full session on Sunday, finished around 11 am so I
missed the middle afternoon opportunity which last year was productive. I could
not get any stations on 15 and 10 meter although I made a dual wire antenna for
it. I guess I need a Yagi antenna for those bands. On 80 meter I got 14
stations, the think this is the most I ever got on that band but on 40 meter it
was not the case. I guess my timing is an issue. If I had a radio with a band
spectrum that would help to check the bands activities. Anyway it is what it is.
A challenge and a test of patience and perseverance for a small station with
radio stuff from the 1980's.
