Comments:
Spent a lot of time trying to get N1MM and MMTTY to interface with my IC 7300.
Too many videos with a lot of conflicting information. As a result ran half the
contest using AFSK which was OK but not appealing in the way the received signal
was displayed on the radio. MMTTY made it work. However on Sunday I finally
figured out how to use VSPE and successfully ran the rest of the contest using
FSK. Then to my horror realized that a long CQ RUN was not recording the
frequency properly in N1MM. I was able to manually put the right frequency in
however. Thank goodness I was Running and not S+P. Overall a fun contest
despite some early frustrations. But I'll be all the better for the next one.
