Comments:
I operated from a grassy area with trees on the Caltech campus Saturday morning
and along the mighty LA river concrete channel in Studio City on Sunday. A half
square hung in the trees was used on Saturday. A wire vertical supported by a
fiber glass pole with two elevated radials was in use Sunday. My KX3 was set to
5 watts.
It was amazing to hear JA3YBK on 7028 at 1847Z (1047 PST) on the 20 meter half
square.
