Multi2 is a lot of fun!
After more a than 15 years hiatus (formerly XE2AC) we were able to build another
Multi Two setup (more details at the end)
This time we have the honor to have a great operator: Segio XE1CT, who
drove more than two hours from his hometown Leon, and
took most of the brunt of the congested 20M band and also the noisy low bands.
We also had courtesy visit of a couple of rookies Alvaro XE2AAM and Alberto
(who is awaiting for his license). They did not operate although they were very
plesaed to observe "The heat of the Contesting battle" .
Other notes
1st Day
20M closed right at 0100s
The Low bans were very good
The strongest observed station on 40M was N8OO station
Noticed that 20M and 15M went almost dead on 15 February at16000z
15M opened at 1400 z and closed at 1600z
20M closed on February 16, again at 0100z
2nd Day
Useful QSOs on low bands given the modest wire antenna we have
20M openred on saunday around 1400z
15M Despiet we started to hear strong SA adn Caribean stations at 1500z, the
State side weark opening started at 1600z that yielded only 7 QSOs during 3
hours; the real opening until began at1900z, which lasted until 2200z.
The last contest hour, was devoted only to 40M. Because we hd only one oprator
at that time.
