Equipment: FT1000MP MkV 200w. 14-el Innov Tribander at 55 ft. (3 el on
20m).
Had an enjoyable continuous run of 60 Europeans on Sunday morning on 14,142
undeer excellent conditions.
Actually worked 74 countries counting a quick QSO with W6JTI. Many, many 5-watt
JA's, but no 1-watt stations this year. Worked one Eu station who was running 5
w.
Surprised not to hear any Estonian stations. . they used to be numerous in these
contests but none worked either in RTTY WPX or this contest.
Only mult heard but not worked was CX1BR. If path is low elevation, signal from
beam goes straight into our nearby volcano, Mt. Konocti. Should have tried 40m
DE Zepp, but didn't think of it.
