Comments:
Propagation was a challenge this 160. Friday night was pretty flat. Saturday
night was better. 160 truly a gentleman's band, other than a few pig farmers.
Cary and I prefer CW... SSB on such a narrow spectrum is a real challenge.
We were both remote, Cary from warm Palm Springs, CA, and myself from freezing
NH. K2LE/1 station is a K3s/Alpha 87a/Double-L with 90' vertical and a NE
beverage. Andy is enjoying the warm WX as P40LE; we greatly appreciate the use
of the station.
