Comments:
Because I didn't have a usable 160m antenna, I couldn't work the CQ160, so I
thought that I'd give the UK/EI contest a shot. We had good conditions to UK on
20m until the band closed early, so I moved to 40m. 40m wasn't predictable to on
Saturday. I usually don't comment on band conditions you can usually overcome
those by cranking your contesting skills. I went the extra mile with much
reward. I only worked two EI stations...that was all that I heard. The other
side of the coin is contest activity... this was my first experience playing in
this one, so I don't know what's normal. Good thing that you can work anyone
anywhere. 
I'll have to work on a 160m solution someday down the line. Thanks for all the
contacts, especially my US cw friends. 73s Dave
