Comments:
This event wasn't un-pleasnat just not very pleasant!
Some surprises over the event with BG,VR2 and DX1 though only
one each of Vk(VK2CZ LP) and ZL (ZM1A as always). No big EU runs
for me all weekend and not sure why? The JA runs were fun however.
Will be re-evaluating my 4el X 3 stack during the summer. Only top ant
rotatable (100ft) which was to high for the Caribbean most of the weekend as
lower ants fixed on EU. Same struggle as always from the"Heart of Dixie
" on an active,overpopulated band that we have to bust thru the "Iron
Curtains" in the NE and then EU on any band...just a fact of life not
bitching. I think I am paying for the 20+ yrs I operated in the Carribean with
no such limiting issues.
ALL in ALL I wouldn't trade in the hobby and particularly the competition side
of this grand hobby for any other. Challenges abound even after 50+ yrs........
