Comments:
Rough start on 40 meters trying to run with no takers. sweep the band and logged
a few then moved to the bottom end of 80 meters. I picked up a few then found a
clear frequency toward the upper end where I had a good run. A bit more noisy so
had to ask for repeats on more often than desired. Thanks for sticking it out an
sending the repeats or filling in the partials. Only Ron WV4P from West TN and
he was unusually loud. Always like chasing his score on contestonlinescore.com
Thanks for the great triple play (e.g. all 3 sessions) I participated in today.
On a side note I keep missing the part of the first character for many calls.
Seems like I don't turnover to receive fast enough and calls get partially
cutoff. I guess I should try QSK to avoid this problem unless someone has
another idea or setting for the TS-590SG. Any recommendations would be very
welcome.
