Comments:
Although things with covid-19 made our lives a bit difficult we didn't want to
missed this great contest. For that purpouse a small group of 5 ops gethered to
give it a try in M/2 category.
Luckily we managed to find enough free time for the station preparation, and we
where ready to go some 15 minutes before the contest started.
We mainly focused on runs and using the 3rd station for working multipliers. We
had setup inband stations for both runs but we barely used it. We have started
the contest on 20 and 40m, with the occaisional attempt for a 15m run. After
that latter in the night it turned out to be the top band contesting.It proved
again that enhancing a 20 and 160m antenna was a step forward for us.
Conditions on 10 m where marginal, but we didn't expect to be spectacular since
we in the bottom of solar activity.
Congrats to LZ9W team for the great effort. We ended up in the horse race in
terms of points and not to mention the fun watching how the contest progressed
on online scoreboard.
Wtih a few more people on board we might be hoping for the better score, but I
guess will leave that for the next year.
It never cease to amuse us how many Russian stations one might of work for 24
hours. And thanks to all who called us during this event.
