Comments:

Wow! My ears may never recover. But, I can't ever remember feeling so loud. I
was able (mostly) to hold a frequency (even on 20 and 40). 10 was a loss, 15
was pretty OK, 20 was AMAZING (so much so that 40 suffered) and 80 was good.
Not much time for 160. Especially since I was limited to 36 hours but didn't
even do that amount. But I did much more than I expected to but as usual, when
I get going it seems to draw me in...

Everything worked perfectly, rained like mad today but thankfully the SteppIRs
don't get affected by rain static and it wasn't raining when I was on 40... I
did miss the Beverages and of course Friday at 3 pm I found that yet another
tree had fallen on the 160 vertical radials. Another repair job! This tree was
approximately 2 feet in diameter. I've lost track of the trees that fell this
year. Both the beverages are out and luckily I was able to fix the 160 radial
before the contest started.

Lots of fun. Not sure I'll be able to talk tomorrow or hear my coworkers (maybe
that is a good thing!) but we shall see.

73, Tom W1TJL
