Comments:
I think lady luck was on my side as far as mults go. I eventually worked every
single one that I heard. As an example, I knew KH6CJJ was QRV and I still needed
HI. I was mostly running 80M by then, but I turned the 40M yagi towards KH6 and
started calling CQ when I could on the second radio. Worked a W6, moved, and
when I called CQ again, Kent answered! Now that's pretty cool. Thanks for being
there, Kent. Thanks also to Chuck, N7MZW, who I snagged at the beginning on 80M.
The only other GMCC team members worked were W0ETT and W0ZA.
Missed ID, NE, and LA for sprint WAS. Sixteen of the mults were worked just one
time.
Thank you Bill K0UK for putting together GMCC teams and motivating me to get on
the air. I was going to skip this one since it usually ends up a complete slog
in the fourth hour. But, this year, there was good activity right up until the
end. In fact, I worked nine stations in the last ten minutes.
