Comments:
This was another last-minute remote operation from NX6T in Fallbrook.
This was an interesting GiG. While I would always like MORE EA stations
(there are never enough), there was a decent Spanish turnout. Because I
ran frequencies most of the time, I was frequently pleasantly surprised
when EA & CR stations would call-in, freeing me from the task of looking
for them.
It was nice to run a RTTY GiG this weekend, amidst running
QSO parties and the SP-DX contest in CW. My beef with this weekend was
with the marginal Space-WX and Solar Flux of only 69 - something we mere
mortals can do nothing about. At least there was very little atmospheric
noise this weekend making RTTY copy quite easy; then again, the slow-fading
made for a LoT of exchange repeats.
This is the REASON I send "5NN 1234" and NoT "599 1234".
