Thanks to all who copied my portable signal - 80 watts radiated from a roughly
13ft tall Wolf River Coils vertical assembly. It was great to be out in the sun
at a local park. Only one passer-by stopped to ask about the antenna, rig,
battery and laptop on a picnic table. Turns out, he was an ex-SWL so he had
some vague idea what I was doing. Of course, many others walked, jogged or rode
by and looked at me like I was nuts (but I am used to that by now).
