A random awakening (without an alarm clock).
Longer daylight makes the bands open earlier.
Some very fast weak USA on 7 MHz, but flutter
eating away parts of characters (no ID decoded).
On 3.5 MHz tried to call Eric SD1A first without
a tuner, at SWR = 4 and reduced power, but in
marginal conditions it worked only at a perfect
