Comments:

You can't have much more fun than this using a 40m vertical and, for 20m, a
sloping 1/4 wave wire thrown up in the bushes and clip leaded to the vertical's
coax. It's great "being the DX".

Couldn't use the AL-82. So I un-retired the old SB-221, plugged it into 120v
and enjoyed the dimming light show as I keyed the rig. Oh, and a couple times
my wife decided to iron something. That was a mistake.... (Why did they wire
the house that way?) Oh well, 600w is better than 100w, and at least both 3-500z
stayed lit for the duration of the party.

Thanks to all the folks that worked me on both bands, both modes! There were
quite a few (including OM2VL.)

Worked K9OM/m in three different states!

I know it sounds like a broken record, but, again, my apologies to those I
couldn't pull through my rather high noise level. Vertically polarized antennas
(all I can get away with the HOA) in a subdivision just aren't very quiet.

Thanks to all the participants who make this such a great party! Looking
forward to next year....

Mike, NE8P
