Well, that was too bad. My Carolina Windom has developed some sort of fault
that causes it to break down under power, even though it looks fine on an
antenna analyzer. I had planned to run on 40 for at least the first half, but
nobody was hearing me and the tuner on my amp was having a nervous breakdown.
Still worked a lot of Europeans on 20, despite indifferent conditions and QSB -
I thought the Euro turnout was exceptionally good this morning
